Cost/Format: $350 for 4 game guarantee.

Located at Rotary Park in Beavercreek, OH.

Nice park. We didn't play at Rotary Park in 2008 but did in 2007 and really enjoyed it. I'm sure Bob will get you his contact info so you can register.

BLaster,

If you'd like an entry form, please email me at darden@hotmail.com and i'll send to you.
I don't have a web site. We'd like to have your team come play here. We need at least 4 teams to make it a good event and I will take up to 8 teams.

Thanks

my guess is that Sluggerfest and Heatin' it Up will do this tourney in for 2009. Two big tourney's that will draw many before attending this one.

Les--that could very well be the case. And, I'll be quick to pull the plug. There are only so many 10U teams to go around. The 2 tournaments that you mention are very well respected and teams wouldn't go wrong in playing in those events.

what happens to the "southern" USSSA teams that must play in their State Tourney before going to a Worlds?

Les,

If I pull the plug, then that would be all the grounds that the State director would need to grant you a waiver to play in the Nationals, especially if you played in at least one USSSA 10U event either last fall or sometime in 2009. If you haven't played in a USSSA event, I know he would consider granting the waiver. With so few 10U teams, the odds of any 2 or more 10U tournaments going on the same weekend, are not that high.

how long will you wait before pulling the plug? Need to get an idea so we don't get bumped out of other tourney's that weekend. I know, time will tell

I'll pull plug somewhere between Mar 15 and April 1.

Right now, I'd say it is looking doubtful and if I were in your shoes, I'd be inquiring about openings in the other events.

any more interest in this? Assuming no news is still "premature" bad news?? Tough weekend to get the 10u's to commit with the other big tourney's running the same weekend.
