Anyone use the 2008 stealth yet? I was looking at one for dd. and wondered how it feels. Does the ball "pop" off it as compared to a Rocket tech. Any insight would be helpfull.

If it's anything like the 2007 model then you will be pleased.

As far as comparing it to the RocketTech that they are really two different types of bats. End loaded vs. balanced. Both have excellent pop.

One issue that I know the 2007 model had was some stress cracks right above the handle. Easton had no problem sending you a new one if this occured but I did see it on a number of the bats. Having said that I did not see a better bat last season. That bat had tremendous pop.

Thank you, thats what I wanted to know. I am looking for a balanced bat that has some pop. DD. is not a home run hitter but can drive the ball pretty well. She drags and bunts alot in the second spot and when using the RocketTech the ball comes off the bat too hard for me. At the same time if she's swinging away I would like to have a bat that will perform well. At 300.00 a bat, its not like a car you can test drive!

Just bought my DD one about a month ago. After a long debate on what size to get. I chose the smaller size, and could kick myself. As for the bat, It is great. Great pop, Daughter loves the feel,
and the sound is awsome.

DD loves the 2008 Stealth!! She did have the 2007 model that cracked at the handle where the connector is. Easton says they have fixed the problem with the 2008 models and after using the 2008 model during travel ball have had no problems with the handle being loose.

After trying several bats over the years the Stealth has and is her favorite!! Worth the $300.00!!!

My daughter and I are in the same situation with bats. I was in the spanodome a couple of weeks ago, and I noticed a girl with good power using the purple and white stealth. The next swing it broke. I went to ask her dad about the break, and he told me it was the fourth time. Although I do not know what year it was.

You are correct the Stealth is a nice bat but breaks around the Handle quite often !

I was talking to a guy the other day who said that many girls on his team purchased the purple and white stealth, model SCN6B. Five out of the six bats purchased broke within a year; some broke within a few months. I'm guessing it's only a matter time before the 6th bat breaks. Just hope the replacement bats hold up.

The good news is that eastn will replace the bats. The bad news is they will not be nearly as good as the original 2008's were.

We broke 2 last year as well, but it was an excellent bat while it lasted.

You guys will love this bat i know my dd does. She has been sticking with stealths and she loves the pop and the fact that it is evenly loaded. Hope you find what you are looking for.

My DD is a slap hitter and loves the stealth, we have the 2008. She had used the RT for awhile and that was a mistake. Not nearly the ball action when bunting or dragging that you get with the stealth. It has been her favorite bat she has had to date.

Yes, he said that Easton was great about replacing the bats. However, the girls didn't like the replacement bats as well. I think he said they received an Easton synergy as a replacement for the 34" bat. Not as much pop. My dd owned one as well and we loved the way it flew off the bat, right up until the time it broke a little after the warranty expired. $300 down the drain. Not many people can afford to purchase a $300 bat each year, so hopefully the 2008 Stealths will hold up and still have pop.

oK.. oK I have been watching this model bat on Ebay now and ther are about 4-5 of them ending soon. All of them are over $300??? The highest being $425 with 24 bids on it. What is the deal with this bat? What would drive these prices up or is this just some sellers ploy?? I cant see it..

A friend of mine in Wisconsin just paid $434 for one on ebay. Said his HS age, Div 1 bound daughter used one and the results were way beyond any other bat.

In my opinion, these bats will hit $500 on ebay before the end of June.
