Close game, 3-3 until the 5th inning. Kaliegh McCormick was 4-4. A 2 run HR, 2 doubles, and a single. She just missed hitting for the cycle when her last hit bounced over the fence.

Gahanna beat a Green High School down at Symmes Valley today. Green had a very nice pitcher. Does anyone know who she is and who she plays with in the summer?

Good solid couple of games for the varsity squad, Centerville has the talent, they just need to pull it together for a run at GWOC!!

Also I heard El Gato's lil' sis had a good day at the middle school double header, 2 dingers over the fence and 7 rbi's in one game...she already has 3 school records and it is only 4 games into the season!!!! :yahoo:

Greenville played in the Keith Blair tournament down in Somerset KY and were rained out of Fridays play but they did get three games in on saturday. Unfortunately they were not able to play for the championship because they could only play three games on saturday.

Game # 1

Greenville 10
Wayne Co. 0

Perfect game for Jr. J. Fisherback (2nd of the season) 13 K's

Game# 2

Greenville 0
Somerset 1 (13 -1 on the season so far)

(8 innings)

J. Fisherback K's 15 and allows only 1 hit. The offense fell to sleep in this one.

Game# 3

Greenville 10
Southwestern 0 ( 9 - 3 on the season)

Jr. A. Comer throws a perfect game as well

Not sure how many times this has happened that a team had two different pitchers throw perfect games on the same day, but I'm sure that it does not happen often. Overall Greenville allows 1 hit in three games, and left too many runners on in the 2nd game for sure.

Currently 8 - 1 on the season.
