Now that's a game I would have liked to have seen. These two teams sounds like some real future powers in Greater Cincy/Dayton. Good luck, girls!

Thanks for the games. We enjoy playing good competition. We will keep trying to improve. I just need more girls involved in summer games. We only have 2 girls on summer teams. My daughter and 1 girl who is a first year travel player. This will be the 1st year Franklin's rec program will be fastpitch. It has been slowpitch in the past. Hopefully things will turn around in the near future in Franklin.

Centerville - Black 9 Van Buren 8

The MS Elks fought off a strong comeback in the 7th inning to hold back Van Buren and remain undefeated (9-0). Pitchers Virgilio and Stoner pitched strong games, Virgilio having 16 K's in the first game.

The Black team boasts players from the Xpress, Diamond Dominators and OUTCASTfastpitch.

Lakota Liberty - Silver 3
Cincinnati - Nagel (Silver) 2

Nagel - Silver had difficulty "catching up" to Liberty's pitcher's speed. Only way Nagel was getting on base was hitting slow rollers to infielders, but most innings were slammed shut with K's. :-( Good pitcher for Liberty, I hope she continues to work hard as she could be a good one. Nagel's pitcher battled all game with runners reaching via errors, and they ultimately cost her in the end. Still a good pitcher's duel, tho.

Ironically, Madiera pitcher had good speed and good change, but struggled with control. Hope she keeps working at it, as she will be a good one, if she continues to work.

Great job by all the girls!! They are playing hard every game. Pitching, Defense and timely hitting.
Probably not too many left handed batteries around. I didn't think of that one? Maybe thats why their on the same page all the time. Scary thought!!!
