Teays Valley JV is 14-0 (I think, so many rain outs and reschedules, hard to track). We have wins against some of the notables being Olentangy Liberty, Lancaster and Granville. The JV team has not lost a game since 2006. Good job & good luck ladies.

I didn't read through to see if anyone else brought it up but isn't D'Arcy a sophomore? I remember her pitching for the Fairfield Freshman team last year. But either way she is a very good pitcher and Fairfield has always been deep in outstanding pitching. From what I saw last year, I think D'Arcy could start on plenty of Varsity teams in the area but Fairfield has Jaisa Fox who is a fantastic pitcher and hitter. Fox is hitting .352 in the GMC (leading her team) and has a 0.81 ERA. Her record doesn't do her justice but with the quality hitters that Fairfield lost last year to graduation it is no surpirise that her team has not won some of the closer games. Regardless, Fairfield is always loaded with pitching. I can't remember a year where they haven't been loaded!

Wed 4/29 Walsh Jesuit 1 St Vincent-St Mary 0 Different freshman pitcher finally got to throw in this game at Firestone Stadium! Great game!

During the past couple of weeks, Lancaster JV has went 6-2 going 3 for 4 in the Upper Arlington JV tournmant (good job ladies for bringing home the trophy) and wins over Grove City (9-8), Reynoldsburg (11-1) Pickerington North (2-1) and Groveport (4-1). Losses to Upper Arlington in the JV tournament and Teays Valley JV (1-7).

I believe the Gales JV is now 13-4 on the season.

May 4th at GE
Glen Este?s JV needed 11 innings to defeat a well coached and very good Mount Notre Dame JV 9 to 8. Both teams played excellent ball down the stretch, not conceding any thing, until GE loaded the bases and got a clutch line drive to push in the winning run at the bottom of the 11th. To both team, that was the most exciting game I?ve seen this year.

May 5th at GE
