Well I'm sorry to say that I won't be there for that one because I have our tournament to run this weekend but I might just be calling you for some real time updates. I think that Covington showed them a little something last time they played and hopefully TV South will bring some more intensity this time around.

I'd love to watch it myself, but I promised to be a chaperone for my DD's band trip to Kings Island. Good luck with your tournament!

Looks like a great TW/Central Crossing game!!! Best of luck to TW Cards in the rest of the tournament.

Tom G: can you provide details on the battery for TW and the way the runs were scored?

Valley view beat Monroe, don't know what the final score was, but Fultz had a perfect game. Great job, VV.

Nice job Emily Fultz, Savannah and Malorie. Emily is a great pitcher. Valley View has done a great job this year.

Sorry that the tables for the box scores didn't format through to this post. Have to get Bear to teach me how to do that.

Good win for Woodridge.

Was the box score in the paper right? No-hitter?

Yes, it was a no-hitter - my dd was the freshman pitcher for Woodridge and she had 16 K's, but the box score shows 14. I don't think our coach counts the drop 3rd's when they make it to 1st because there were 2 K's that did get on base. (It didn't hurt that the Bluffton coach was there with the radar gun). BTW, Knight did not play for Garrettsville.

Congratulations to your daughter! The list of PTC pitchers who have thrown no-hitters this year is starting to get pretty long.
