12U, 14U & 16U - NSA Sanctioned / World Series National Qualifier
8 Teams / Division - Double Elimination Tournament
June 19th ? 21st, 2009
Tournament starts Friday 4:00 p.m.
5 Games Guaranteed (weather permitting)
o NSA Rules
o Entry fee is $325.00 if paid in full by 03/31/09. $350 if paid after 03/31/09.
o All teams must have e-mail contact address.
o All teams must be NSA sanctioned on-line prior to the Tournament.
o Cut off for registration is June 9th, 2009.

GRRRR!!! Looks like we will be dodging the rain this weekend. All of our fields have a good sand and dirt mixture and can take water well. We will do our best to get the all games in.

Strasburg looks forward to having all of you to our village this weekend and another successful tourney.

There is no real address for the park that I know of. But the park is located on Railroad Ave. SE in Strasburg. Here are the directions that I have given to the coaches. Hope this helps.

Directions to Strasburg Franklin Park

From the North or South via I-77:
1. Exit I-77 (exit #87), turn left towards Strasburg.
2. You will approximately 1 mile and go past a McDonalds and Ramada Limited on your right.
3. Just past the Ramada, on your right you will see a El Ducko?s Dairy Bar (its ORANGE and YELLOW in color) you can?t miss it.
4. Turn Right on 4th St. just past El Ducko?s.
5. Go over a set of RR tracks.
6. For the registration pavilion and Fields #1, 2 and 3 you will turn left once you get over the R.R. tracks and turn right into the parking lot area. For Fields #8 & #9, you will turn right after the R.R. tracks and the fields will be back in the park area.


From the North via SR 250 / SR21
1. Come into Strasburg and you will go thru two street lights.
2. After you go thru the 2nd light, you will go a couple of blocks and you will see a Kraus? Pizza on your left. Turn left on 4th St. just past Kraus? Pizza and before El Ducko?s Dairy Bar (its ORANGE and YELLOW in color) you can?t miss it.
3. Go over a set of RR tracks.
4. For the pavilion and Fields #1, 2 and 3, you will turn left once you get over the R.R. tracks and turn right into the parking lot area. For Fields #8 & #9, you will turn right after the R.R. tracks and the fields will be back in the park area.

I would love to say it's sunny and 80 but I can't. It is raining, but it does look like it should be out out here in a couple of hours. I am very confident that the fields can take the rain. We only need two fields to be ready @ 4 and the other 3 @ 5:30. So we do have some time.

Friday coaches, plz. have your cell phones handy this afternoon just in case.

Attention to all Summer Bash participants:
For Saturday games, the 8:00 a.m. games have been moved back to a 9:00 a.m. start time. The remainder pool games will be played @ 1 hr. time limit instead of the original 1 hr 15 time limit. We are trying to play a little catch up. Another item that I have put in place for tomorrow, we will allow ties to finish a pool play game. Coaches plz. have the girls ready to play after the previous game(s).

Coaches, thankx to you and your parents for all of their patient. Once we get throught through tomorrow morning we will be good to go.
