I was in Bob's ear a couple times about fencing this weekend. He knows the importance and actually is somewhat setup for the fence system already. I won't be surprised at this point to see fences in the near future. Bob, thanks for what you and Betty do.

WE THE HH ROADWARRIORS 16U FINISHED THIRD JUST WONDERING WHO WON IT.
WOULD HAVE TO AGREE ABOUT THE FENCES, MOST PARKS THAT ARE BECOMING GREAT VENUES FOR FAST-PITCH WERE STRICTLY SLOW PITCH DIAMONDS IN THE 80'S AND 90'S. BEAVERCREEK IS ANOTHER GOOD EXAMPLE OF THAT.
AS FAR AS PUTTING ON A TOURNAMENT EXPRESSWAY EXCEEDED ALL EXSPECTATIONS ALL THE POST'S WE READ PRIOR TO GOING THIS WEEKEND WERE DEAD WRONG GREAT ATSMOPHERE FOR EVERYONE WE HAD A GREAT TIME.HOPE THERE MORE TOURNY'S IN THE FUTURE.

Hard to have this kind of fun anywhere else in Cincy!!!
The party during the day was almost too much, we were down from the dancing and sugar crash after the girls ate 10 cupcakes!!!

Since I have had no problem telling everyone about what i thought was a poorly designed schedule
I must tell everyone the Smokey Baker tourny was without a doubt the best run
tournament I have played in this year in the cincy area
game schedule was set up great, we had enough time to snack at the concession stand also the games where on time and fields were lined between games

Congrats Bob, I am pleased to hear things went very well for Expressway this weekend. Here's to hoping Expressway continues to step up its product and separate itself from its competitors. Cincinnati needs a fastpitch park to call "home."

Great job to all at Expressway Park. On time, shorter lines at concession. Re-lining fields and prepping the pitcher's rubber between games. Umpiring was better. (still have a weak one or two, but much better than the early bird tourney)
You can tell they are really trying to improve with every tournament.
Count on us next year.
Can't wait to see the temporary fences if you can make it happen!

I totally agree! It was a great tournament once again for Expressway Park. It seems that Bob and Betty have figured out the magic formula on how to run a successful tournament. If you haven't played a tourney at this park, do yourself a favor and sign up for one!
