The OUTCASTfastpitch-14u won the Championship game against the Marion Diamonds. (8-5?) The MD's had beaten us on Saturday, during pool play, and battled to the 7th inning of the final game, never giving up and pushing the OUTCAST's to the very end. I believe that this game could have been won by either of these two hard fighting teams. I am pretty sure that the tieing run was at bat, in the bottom of the 7th with two girls on base. I really appreciate playing against such quality teams/organizations because I know that is how ALL of the girls improve their game.

It was GREAT to see both of these teams battle on the field to the end and then pose together for a BIG group picture, holding up their well-deserved trophies, with smiles on their faces.

Outcast had a nice team, beat Plain City Pioneers twice in two close games. Congratulations to the Outcast.

The Dayton Outcasts and the Marion Diamonds-queen played an outstanding championship game at Indian Lake. It had some outstanding pitching along with some great hitting. I was super impressed with the effort of both teams along with the sportsmanship. The intensity in that game was unsurpassed by any game we played all year.
