Sponsored by SGS Magic and Maumee Thunder, Details forth coming shortly, first annual "Smashing Pumpkins" USSSA qualifier will take place in late October. Every team will be given a pumpkin to decorate up, if you lose in bracket play, you relinquish your pumpkin to the victor for a smashing ceremony! This will be a VERY limited field, so if you want in, you have to jump fast! should be fun! contact mark@premiersportingevents.net or magicsgs@bex.net to hold a spot!

"SMASHING PUMPKINS" more details! we are working on this to make it an absolute blast!

1. whole tournament takes place Oct. 31st from 8am with championship games under the lights at 11:00pm!
2. fun atmosphere, DJ for music, fun and games, give us suggestions please!
3. Big prize for the best Coach Custume!
4. candy and contest for best dressed little ones of players!

Give us ideas, we want this to be a "party"!!!!

Size will be limited to first 70 teams! more details coming as legendary director Denny Rose works out the logistics!

we are working on having all 14/16/18u fields with 200' fences, the way ALL softball should be played, stay tuned, but it looks good!

we also want college teams to scrimmage the "elite" travel teams, so please help pass the word to facilitate this!

wanted to update a few questions we had: 1. Yes Denny Rose is the primary tournament director, and nobody does it better then Denny! 2. we wanted a unique format, all one day to cut down on travel for teams within a 4 drive. 3. end games at the howling hour of halloween! 4. make it fun, a party atmosphere, with music and more!

Owens College is intending on putting 2 teams in. We are working on others, if you have any contact info, let us know, we'll work on that also. 18u Magic White Dave Day is going to play also, along with 16u Magic Snyder, 14u Magic Demars, 12u Magic Watson/Jaworski and 10u Magic Hill, so we have some really nice quality teams to start with, in addition to the others already signed up. We anticipate the real rush of teams will be for the next 3 weeks, and most teams just are not up to "snuff" yet on team meetings etc. We really want this to be a "special" event, a Party atmosphere for teams and fans, please give us any feedback or comments you can!

10u: we will accomodate this age group by playing all games early in the day, so they are done by trick or treat time! we need a few more 10u's.

18's and college division, we are still awaiting response on a college and another team, but need a couple more teams in this "elite" bracket. If you are a really good 16 and over travel team/college team, please contact us, thanks.

TRB it was posted a few days ago and now its not? not sure why? hopefully someone can post it. I do know last time I checked they had 7 12U teams but I'm not sure about the other age groups. Sorry not much help.

I emailed our webmaster, he'll get the list back up, currently: we are looking for 6 more teams till we are filled up for the Oct. 31st 1 day event that is a USSSA 2010 Qualifier. We'd really like another top travel team that is interested in playing against Owens college and Dave Day's 18 Magic White team.
