Hitting and Hitters Discussion keep hitting pop ups

every time i am up to bat i cant seem to hit the ball. i either pop it up or i cant get it out of the infield \. what can i do to break these habits? i have been going to a hitting coach for about 2 years now and i still can not seem to hit the ball.
