The Cincy Doom North would like to thank Rob and the rest of the Valley Storm coaches and players for hosting this Sunday's Friendly. We played two very solid teams in the Cincy Static and the Valley Storm 18U, both with quality players and coaches. To our ladies, Eric and I were very pleased with today's performance and we look forward to another great season together. We also want to thank the players who came to try out, and especially those who came since we were short on players. Happily, it looks like our numbers will be growing. Thanks again for a well spent Sunday afternoon! :)

We second that loncor. Rob thanks for hosting this friendly and we enjoyed coming over and having the chance to play some nice teams again.

Wish we could have gotten in your tournament next weekend but saturdays are just real bad for us right now.

It was an enjoyable day watching the girls play. I thought long and hard about putting this post on here, but decided that I really wanted to do it.
Loncor - I noticed, as it has been the past few yrs, that you coached 1st base. Why? I think you do a tremendous job with all of the teams that you have dealt with the past few years and I believe you would do a tremendous job in the third base coaches box. I've wondered why you always defer. Perhaps it is just your preference...I would love to see you on the other side. I realize that I don't "have a dog in this fight", but as an interested onlooker I would like to see you do it!!!!! Just putting my two-cents in!

Sportsgal... thanks for the kind words, and yes coaching first has been a preference although I have dabbled at 3rd on occasion, but mostly with a lot of anxiety. LOL Those who know me well, know that I have a touch of ADD and tend to get distracted at times (just ask my family, lol), which is not good when you are coaching third. I guess the older I get, the more reluctant I am to step out of my comfort zone, so I take care of what I feel I do best, and let someone else take the lead at third....besides, I can always blame them if they do something stupid...LOL Thanks again for your support. I hope your DD has a great season!
