Hitting and Hitters Discussion Hitting Coach in SW OH area

Hi,
Does anyone know a hitting coach in the southwestern area? Our DD needs some HELP!!! Please pm me if anyone has any information....

Quite a few in the area and one for certain that is hard to get into... but to name a few that I know of
Cindy Bowles out of Miamitown Batting cages, Jackie Cornelius out of Sports Plus near Tri-County or next to GE Park. We use Howard but his time is nearly impossible to get to. Pete Spoerl out of SWOBATS teaches Howard's system. SE Indiana there's Heather Cotner (Zins). If you need some contact info send me an email at static.coach@gmail.com. Heather also teaches the "hand path" and Howards/Crystl's system just as Pete does. I'm sure I'm missing some but these are ones I know personally and not discrediting the others...

Cindy, Pete and Heather are excellent choices. I believe Jackie got married and is out of the biz. Pete and Heather are Howard devotees. Watch for Howard and Crystl clinic's...Great place for both parents and child to learn about hitting.

IMHO, Cindy Bowles and Howard are the best there is. Two different styles but both have the patience and knowledge to make it work. Cindy has two locations now, Miamitown and Tri-County

Jackie is still doing lessons her number is 513-310-6168. her e-mail is corny@fuse.net she gets married in November. Chip Gregg is very good too.

If I had a daughter it would be Heather or Pete in my opinion....

As several have stated above there are some great hitting instructors in the SWO area. Whichever you work with it is critically important to apply the same discipline and devotion to working on hitting as pitchers do. I can confirm Les' comment's on Howard, he takes NO Shortcuts and demands fixing the 'base' and work from there. He really worked my DD Allison patiently and would not move forward until she was ready. That is why we asked him to show our coaches who to teach his / Busto's method, so we can ingrain it in our players this winter/off season. What he showed us in 4 hours on night with one of our 16u players made our coaches believers...

Remember - no short cuts, have a plan/process and follow-it... our girls will be hitting 3 times a week this winter, we hope it imprints on them so they can go into games and play without 'thinking' about it.

Good luck, I know your DD, she will work hard at it and be successful...

Pete Spoerl out of SWOBATS is excellent. Also, Andrea Costa or any of the hitting instructors at Champions.
