Did you look in the Fastpitch Sales - Forum?

Believe they sell the facemasks on-line and you can get a discount.

Lunachix Girl---always a pleasure to see a player so enthusiastic about her sport. :)

As I'm sure you already know, sporting good stores can only carry limited stock, so like SoftballDad suggests---learn to make online shopping your friend. (Heck, most of the time you can usually find what you need at a better price than at the stores.)

Happy hunting

sign up for the online sites and you'll get the closeout deals emailed to you as well. Found some incredible deals on uniforms and helmets that way. Pull over jackets too.

Not just good for softball. My quality of life is so much better around Christmastime thanks to internet shopping. Three things I hate: painting, shopping, and crowds.

I was at dicks looking for softball cleats the other day, and they looked at me like I was just another stupid woman that didn't realize I was looking at "softball" cleats and then explained to me that it was the off season.

Dicks actually tried to tell me that ****** cleats and softball cleats were the same thing a couple of years ago before me DD fell in love with her ringers.

I was a Dick's a couple of weeks ago and noticed they had some Nokona gloves for sale. I tried a couple of the gloves on and they were the worst feeling gloves I have ever put on my hand......the worst ever! Dick's must get the Nokona rejects while the smaller sporting goods stores get the top stock. Depending on the model, Dick's wanted anywhere from $125 to $200 for the crappy feeling Nokona gloves.

Dick's Nokona's are like bricks. The leather is tough and doesn't even conform to your hand at all. I agree they must get the irregulars, especially the catchers mitts. Their Akadema's are just as bad.

Bought dd's Nokona from Rego's Sporting Goods. Definitely not a second. Very nice glove.

Exactly! I couldn't even get my fingers in a few of them, and the one's that I could felt like they were shifted and twisted. Your hand literally hurt when wearing the glove. Not one of them had any semblence of a start of a pocket, and the leather was indeed very, very stiff. $10 pleather K-mart specials feel better than the Nokona garbage at Dick's.

I'm surprised you could even try it on at all. Most of the time I've seen Nokona gloves at Dick's they have them on the higher racks, and then have one of those security cables running through them to where it's hard to even be able to get it on your hand.

Got to watch at Dick's I think the Nokona are China(or over seas) made that are sold there. I also got a Nokona from Rego's and is a nice glove.

Hey Lunachix Girl...Unless something has changed as of recently the only place that you can get a "Rip-It" Mask from is on line or at a Tournament. Dicks only sells the "Game Face" mask, and it is in short supply that they get those in. You can order the Rip-it on line and get it pretty quickly though.

Just a thought...

We bought a Rip-It mask at a sporting goods store in Alliance, OH called Dunham's, but they don't carry them now that it's fall.
