Pitcher Hurt In Auto Accident

Glenn McCoy, the director of the Pinnacle Sports ASA Qualifier shared with the players and parents from their tournament about the pitcher from the Ohio Power, asked if we would keep her and her family in our thoughts and prayers. The information he shared with us is that she was in a car the was broadsided by another vehicle. She was taken to Medina Hospital originally and then later transferred to Metro in Cleveland. She has a broken leg that will need surgery and possibly a plate, also some internal injuries.

Good luck to her and her family!

That's unfortunate. I'm sorry to hear that.

Which age group was this?

She is a 14U pitcher from the Ohio Power/Revere HS. I heard two of her friends are still in ICU

I feel so bad for her and her family, and for the other 2 also. What a gifted pitcher/player she is. Enjoyed watching her pitch this past friday night.
It was nerve racking enough to drive in that storm, then for that to happen to them.
They will be in our prayers!!!
