No, that's not right. The 4 player rule applies for ANY time period except from June 1 to July 31 plus any Nationals. It applies, for example, to outdoor fall ball no matter who is coaching. That's why we will never have more than four from one high school on our travel ball team.
It probably doesn't matter in your Final Flurry because presumably none of your girls have played for the high school yet. But I wouldn't want wrong information out there.
If your players had already played for the high school, I'd also be concerned about the following:
"4.7) Participation in indoor fast pitch softball is not a violation of OHSAA non-interscholastic Sports Regulation 4.5 if played indoors from November 1, 2009, through February 1, 2010, for student-athletes."
The implication here is that more than four players from a high school team playing indoors at other times is a violation, though the reference to Reg 4.5 rather than Reg 4.2 is puzzling.
