Girls Fastpitch Softball High School 2nd Annual Scrimmage Day

Date: March 27, 2010
Location: 2619 Bazetta Road, Warren, Ohio 44482
Cost: $150/team (make checks payable to Optimist Club of Bazetta/Cortland)
Two 7 innings games w/OHSAA softballs and two umpires
Weather permitting 100% refund if all games are rained out
Four groomed fenced fields with 100 foot field tarps
Concession stand available
Port-a-Potties
Max. 16 Teams (Will try to have teams compete in same HS Division)

Event Timing (two teams on each field will be required to play back-to-back games)

10:00 a.m. to 11:00 - Team Warm Up
11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. - Game #1 (1 vs. 2)
12:45 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. - Break #1
1:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. - Game #2 (1 vs. 3)
2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Break #2
3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. - Game #3 (2 vs. 4)
4:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. - Break #3
5:00 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. - Game #4 (3 vs. 4)

The field is set for our 2nd annual High School girls fastpitch scrimmage day. I will start keeping a waiting list in case a team would happen to drop out.

Looking outside its hard to believe this is only a few weeks away!! But we will do everything in our power to make it happen..

Nice field of teams....looking forward to it. VE worked hard last year to get it in.

CANCELLED - due to 1" of standing water in the outfields viewed at 1:00 p.m. today from the snow and rain received on Thursday night and early Friday morning.

Ursuline played there last night and beat Akron SVSM 5-2, only two games were played in all of Trumbull & Mahoning counties.....
