Congrats to Greenville High School and coach Newland on being ranked 25th in the country in the USA/Today-NFCA High School Poll. This is the third time in the past few years that Greenville has broken into the Top 25 in the nation.

Congrats to Coach Newland, Wave players, staff and all of Greenville for this accomplishment!

Playing them the past two seasons has been a pleasure for us even in defeat. They are first class all the way!

It has always been fun watching Greenville play in Ashland each year. They deserve the #1 ranking in D2 in Ohio. They are going to be tough to beat when it comes playoff time.

When we have played the youth in the rec all-star tourneys they are very solid in pitching and other positions. At our layer they had (have) a great group of assistants helping out. Even when they were kicking our tails they were doing it with class.

I say the above because if they have been doing that for years the youth (Travel, etc) programs are really fueling the high school program.
