REC-LEAGUE Tournament SE Ohio Tournaments

Does anyone have any information about the tournaments held in Portsmouth, Ohio? We attended 2 of their tourneys about 3 or 4 years ago and didn't have a very good experience - not many teams, games, park grounds, etc. I see now that the tourneys are ran by someone else and have seen some pics that looked like there were a lot of teams entered, do you know if they have improved? I would like to go back, but I have parents that say "no way" because of what happened before.

They still are playing at Dr. Singleton Park in West Portsmouth, Ohio.

Their events are listed in the ASA section of the OFC.

Was there last year in May. From what I can remember was two tornado warnings, getting lost in downtown Portsmouth, half blind umps and our team folded up shop right after that tournament. Then daughter broke two toes on right foot that evening after the tournament.

Besides that........ two thumbs up! :lmao:
