I totally agree. This is a rediculous topic. But it will probably cause some rogue parent to NOW go on a crusade to have their school provide the softball team with school equipment.:lmao:

Where have you been. Sports will continue in HS. Very little HS sports are paid for by the taxpayers these days. I know of very few schools who's sports programs aren't "pay to play" these days. If your HS sports aren't yet they will be soon. Thats where the whole HS sports thing is going, they'll all be self supporting and not a drag on the school budget.

They gave us about 150 or so for our rec league a few years back with facemasks.... All the coaches had to do was sign a card with about ten eyesight questions like would the girls be less afraid of the ball? Would they be more aggressive hitting etc.... That was all it took....
