Sometimes better to play than sit around for a week. It's not a big deal.

Definately North Union in the top, and likely Pleasant out of the bottom

North Union will definately be a tough out. They are playing very well. Hope RV can make the bottom interesting and get on a roll.

How can both #1 seeds end up in same half of the bracket? Does the coach of a # 1 have to opt into that side?

Only one #1 seed in this bracket. Teams were seeded 1-25 and then choose according to seed where they wanted to go on the bracket.

5 seniors, 5 juniors, 1 sophomore according to the league site.

Seems to me that the Northridge coach would've been smarter to take the buy in the first round and then since they still had a few regular season game spots left, use those to scrimmage a few other teams that are in the same position. Lakewood wanted to scrimmage them.

Is that reasonable or not?

RV has a tough game right off the bat. Amanda Clearcreek plays div I and II all year. Didnt have much of a good season. They just get it going for the tournament. They sent two tough teams packing last year at this time. Gave Lakewood a heck of a game at the districts.
Need to take a close look at Liberty Union very very tough.
Bloom Carroll is no piece of cake either.

Hate to put the hex on my fellow coaches, but with two of the four teams remaining being North Union and Highland, it's starting to look......;&

Well, you are batting .500

The NU-LU game was a great game. Very exciting from start to finish. When you know lots of the kids on both the teams, it is a sad time when one cannot move on. But, the girls on both sides played their hearts out and left it all on the field.

Congrats to North Union on a great season.

For my LU Lions, keep playing hard and smart.

LU bring back the the Championship to Fairfield County !!!!!!! Those girls have what it takes to win it all! VERY VERY well rounded team! They work hard and it shows on the field !!! Good Luck Girls we will be cheering for you !!! WOOOO HOOO !!
