Congrat's Erin Simon (Clay)- Erin made some plays that no one but her could make. She may have been the sole reason the game lasted as long as it did. Great kid and a wonderful family. Keep your chin up Erin, your play in this game showed how bad you wanted it.

This game was a classic, 15 innings over two days. Heartbreaking way to lose for CNE. Hopefully we can make a return visit to districts over the next few years.

Two minor upsets. How big of an upset was Highland over Northridge? I have not heard too much on Highland this year.

while it was a absolutely fantastic game ,it should have been over in the bottom of the 7th as the winning run was walked in for clay to end the game. as a softball fan for forty years i have never witnessed a strike call that beligerently bad . the nbc news sports announcer had it right when his quote said " and she's called out on ball four" my heart goes out to the clay girls and i congratulate springfield and hope they get the job for northwest ohio

Mason won 4-2 over Northmont. Northmont was winning 2-0 till the 7th inning where it fell apart for Northmont and Mason took over the game. Tied the game in the 7th and won it in the 8th with two more runs.
