The Lady Lasers Purple had another good weekend going 6-0 to win the HoO Shelia Kitchen Memorial in Marysville. Three of those six wins came against the Ohio Ice. This was our first chance to meet Don and his Ice team this year. Some close competitive games. The kind of team we look forward to playing again. The Classics and Stingrays were also there but we didn't get to play them.

I'm very proud of our Laser girls for playing hard through the heat this weekend to come out on top.

Don, best way to deal with Avery is INTENTIONAL WALK. And lets not forget your pitcher and 3rd base Don, those 2 are a little scarry to face. I think I saw one driving you to the hotel. LOL. All kidding aside both the Lasers and Ice showed this weekend they are deserving of their rankings. Solid teams from top to bottom and classy groups as well. Congrats to both of you on a great weekend!

i want to say again what a classy thing your team/group did for us stingray10u. we probably could have been disqualified for being over a half hour late to the first bracket match where your girls were warmed and ready to play, then had to wait on us. again that's something that doesn't show up here on the internet but needs to be mentioned.

your team, your coaches, your parents..... are completely a class act and I hope to see you all again.

You must have caught him at a weak moment Don...Bill told me he was going to make you spot him a run for every five min. late. But...then he asked me if I had your cell number because deeeeeep down...he really is in this for the kids.

Good games Ice. Future Ice opponants...get your outfields ready...they like to hit there. Looking forward to seeing you again at Laser Nation...hopefully.

Don, You are very welcome. There was no way I was going to miss an opportunity to put our girls up against a team like yours. We can't improve playing community all star teams. It was fun and can't wait to see you at our tournament. I will be collecting on that cold drink you promised. Now if it were those guys from that purple team we would have got the TD to DQ them and bought snow cones for all the girls. Purple Snow cones of course.

I wanted to congratulate Tadd and the Lasers on a great weekend. I also wanted to give credit to the Ice, they also have a great team and Don really has them prepared to play. We had some really good games with the Ice, but he got us 2 out of 3. I will find out next week about my #1 pitcher's thumb, hopefully, she is only out 4 weeks. I'm anxious to face the Lasers and Ice again with her healthy. ASA States should be fun with the Lasers, Stingrays, and Classics there. Our team really enjoyed the HoO tournament.
