Ohio Dragons '99 Win USSSA Southern State Championship

I want to congratulate the Dragons 10U on winning the USSSA Southern State Championship this weekend in Beavercreek. The Dragons went 6-0 to win the championship. Scores:

Way to go Dragons. I am very proud of all of you and way to keep fighting in the championship and win back to back championships and going 11-0 in 2 weekends and scoring 112 runs and only giving up 10 runs in 2 weekends. Way to hit and play defense. Keep up the hard work it will pay off in the end.

I would also like to congratulate the Cincy Shock on their great play this weekend. The Cincy Shock is a very good team that will give any team in the top ten a run for their money. They play solid defense and can flat out hit the ball. Great job Cincy Shock.

Special Thanks to Bob and Terry for running a great tournament and getting all of the games in expect for maybe 1 pool play game even with all of the rain. Great job and great tournament.

Congratulations Dragons players and coaches! We are very proud of you! Great job fighting to the end and battling back in the championship. Special Props to:

- Cincy Shock.....I have seen some 10U teams that can hit and you can hang with any of them.

- "E-dog" and "Aly Cat" for swinging BIG sticks every time you girls stepped to the plate this weekend.

- Kaitlyn for pitching a great game on Sunday when your team needed you to.

- Bob & tourney staff for pulling off a great tourney in less than ideal weather conditions.

Congrats to the Ohio Dragons. You should be proud of the way you handle yourself on and off the field. A Classy team from the coaches to players to parents.
