Here is what I believe I have understood, but been known to get things mixed up at times. The winner bracket has 2 teams left - Buckeye Heat Toledo and Outlaws. There are 3 battleing in the losers bracket = MV Xpress, Dragons, and Classic Black. Classic Black will get the winner of Xpress or Dragons. Not sure when the 2 teams in the winner bracket play; probably playing now. Sorry, but don't have any scores to report.

Agree with an earlier post.... if you're going to put the brackets online, they need to be updated.

Lost to Xpress this morning, 9-8 in 2nd IT.....great game, hope to meet up with them again.

It wasnt definatly a strong field. Counting pool games we played 8 total games with the last 7 opponents finishing in the top 12. Just some great teams, games and sportsmanship this weekend. Good to see some old friends and make a few new ones.

First of all let me say great job to Bruce and his staff, you guys did a great job with the first annual Lasers Invitational and I'm sure that it will continue to grow into one of the top tournaments in the state if you keep filling it with the type of teams that were there this weekend.

Congrats to the Buckeye Heat (Toledo) and the Classics Black. Job well done.

Already thinking ahead to next year ..... Are the Lasers doing this again? Same time, opposite of Compuware?

Since Compuware requires early application (and cash), it would be nice to know well in advance about this option. This is a tournament that has a chance to become a reagional "big" imho, if it is taken that direction. For all the great Ohio teams that were not at Compuware though, it was still loaded, imho, with good 16u teams. It is still a quality option for tapping exposure in that area, and playing a competitive tournament.

Looks like there may be several quality options on/near this date in the future?

I am sure the Lasers teams that went to Compuware, like us, had already committed their $500.00 bones, and were "committed" when the inspiration for a serious and quality alternative caught fire, and became a strong regional tournament. Just curious where the thinking is going forward, we want to be where the herd is heading also. I know, way early, just getting it out there because before we know it we will be holding try-outs, and sending checks to Stingrays & Compuaware again .... before raking leaves and sitting down to watch the Buckeyes with ham sandwich and a cold one .......
