Les, don't mean to hijack, but I would like to thank the honest people at Smokey Baker for turning in my Jugs net left on field 5 (an EXPLOSION person so I was told ) and for the person who picked up my Blackberry that fell out of an open pocket of my bucket and turned it in to office also:yahoo:

Also I placed a thread (LOST AND FOUND AT HEATIN IT UP) in regards to a catchers mit I found and one of our parents lost his mit...check it out for discriptions and reply if it purtains to you.:)

Hope you get them back....

Lester,

last summer i went out and bought myself a pair of Lance Armstrong Oakleys, sweeeet shades... took very good care of them and never let my kids near them. At the end of the spano spring league which was two weeks before our first outdoor tournament i came home from work and found half of them on the floor, the other half i presume was in my bassett hounds stomach. now i stored them on top of the refridgerator to prevent this kind of thing from happening. (flash) got on the counter and ate everything in site, then reached up and got my Oakleys. Flash is at the farm now (the farm is the place all animals that my kids talk me in to getting end up). If you find out who took your glasses and this person needs to go to the farm, pm me and i will give you directions...

:lmao: My husband has directions to "the farm" as well...been there, done that

I have "my" pair still. I am the hardest on anything there is so for me to have Oakley's is about as smart as putting myself "out there" on OFC... anyway, I did this more as amusement than to get them back.

Wal-mart glasses ****.. Musty, I know you eat, drink, and sleep at Wal-mart...good luck with that venture and I know your DW works there. As far as buying $10 shades... been there and done that 20 times... so... why not buy them once and have them for a long time, till you get your second pair and let the DD's use them and then someone willingly walks off with them.

And I did talk to the team that was there after us and the lost and found...well, nothing of good value was there either. They did have about 15 pairs of Wal-Mart glasses if that's anything to you.

I had a great pair of Revo sunglasses for almost 3 years before I, like an idiot, put them on top of the bill of my cap at a high school game at our field. I forgot they were there and they fell off onto the field, right into a ball glove after the game. One of the players was coming in from their postgame chat in the outfield and stepped on the glove, smashing the glasses.

I have been buying the $15-20 glasses since then. I do miss the Revos, but like cgs said, it's too much stress and work keeping track of them.

Do what I do.....go COMMANDO!

I never wear sunglasses. That way I don't get that "raccoon" look.

I can't delete that image of you going commando fast enough... major puke buckets are being filled... like Niagara Falls filling buckets! :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I have racing stripes for the record. Many hours of Oakleys giving me that racoon look.

A repeat....Les I was told by a reliable source that a Hawk or possibly a Turkey Buzzard was seen descending from the sky and snatching up sun glasses and a person fitting Doug Leno's description which is short and shifty, had a big leather glove on and was using a whistle to call the birds in!

I was also informed he is teaching the birds to snatch the ball while in the air to carry it over the fence and drop it for home runs and considering it an act of nature and is prepared to challenge the ASA, NSA, USSSA, SPCA and NASA if it is not considered a home run! :lmao:

Live by the ZZTop song and buy yourself a pair of cheap sunglasses! :D
