Indoor Tournament Any Central Oh. Fallball leagues?

I am looking for Fallball leagues in or near Central Oh. For 18u. OSU has it but are asking $145 a player. Just a little steep for fallball. Lancaster has a nice league but only goes up to 14U

Does any one know of any? I am not a travel coach. Just have some girls I am getting together for fun. Willing to play against travel teams. Not looking for easy games. To have fun and be competitive.

I know Grand Slam has a nice program. Not sure of the cost or when the deadline is, but we've played it before and it was nicely run.

Last week I got an email from them asking me to umpire in their fall league (this will be my fifth year) so I know they're getting ready to go.

If you click on the "Softball" link across the top of the page, you'll see a picture of the ol' BretMan (or, at least, the back of my head) umpiring in one of their indoor hitting leagues!

On the grandslam site I only seen up to 14U.

I was just looking at it and it listed a 16U and 18U league. But the way the website is organized, at first I couldn't find anything for 14U, 12U or 10U!

There should be leagues for all age groups. On their home page, under the "Calendar of Events", click on the link for the "High School/Travel" league. The info for the younger ages is under the "Youth Softball" link.

Marion puts on a nice league at about $50 a girl for 5 weeks of DH.

Hi KR...any chance you have a link for the OSU league? It is kind of pricey, but I wouldn't mind checking it out.

Look into lancaster. The LGSA does a great job. We tried to one at osu last year and it was a utter waste of time. I hope our coach goes southeast this year. Lancaster lets you go in as a whole team or just one kid alone. Look into it its good work for the kids.

I just google OSU Fallball it is under baseball. You have to be signed up by Aug. 15th

Not sure how close you are to Wooster, but they will have a fall league.

I think we will either have friendlies or just practice this fall. If you are interested in either of those things, send me a PM. Girls will either play the Best of Best in October or the Midwest Regional at Berliner. Other than that, we will work and we will play against the teams who we know will make us better. Cost is just the umpires and occasionally a field charge.

Carol - we are interested in a scrimmage this fall - at Olentangy or your place.

We are playing best of the best and Berliner but how about late September - a Sunday?
