The Sundogs lost to the Salt Lake Flames (Utah) 10 to 8 in an 8am game. A 16th finish out of 103 I think. The Laser Aqua won their first game today and were just starting their 2nd game as we left. Aqua is left to represent Ohio. Go Lasers!

SunDogs finish tied for 13th. A great 3 year run of 5th in 2008, Runner-up in 2009, and the 13th this year, all 18u USA/ASA "A" Nationals. Thanks for the memories!

Sundogs will go down in history as one of Ohio's best competitors in 18U play. And a wonderful supporter of OH-IO fastpitch as well.

Late last night in the California desert was an awesome experience. After the Sun Dogs won their 4th of the day, they stopped at the Lasers game and fired us up. As stated above, the Lasers ralled with 3 runs in the bottom of the 7th. It was a very cool show of unity for Ohio softball. Both teams beat a lot of west coast teams throughout the week.

After the Lasers won early this morning, we went over to return the favor - the Sun Dogs tried to rally from 4 down and had the tying run up in the last inning but couldn't pull it out.

It was great to see each team cheering for the other. A lot of good friends on both sides. They will continue to see each other in the spring as they visit each others universities.
