Tasteless 14U Hotel Prank ?

Our team is staying in a hotel in Maryland with another team. Our girls & some of the parents made door signs with our team name - players name & number. Wednesday night ( some time after 1Am ) the other team removed our teams player door signs, crumpled them up and threw them on the hall floor - then slid a package of CONDOMS under the door into the room. CONDOMS... Where in the world would a 13/14 YO girl pick up condoms??

in your opinion.... A good practical joke or tasteless and over the line ??

Way over the line. I have a 2 yr old and obviously he stays in the hotels with us. If this would have happened to us and if he would have picked one them up...... boy would I have come unglued!!! Very tasteless and the coach needs to address this.

I'm assuming with this being in Maryland it is at Nationals. Not way for a team to represent their home state.... IMO

Tasteless since I am in Maryland for the same tourney I freaked when I read this but then realized you said another CENTRAL Ohio team and we are a SW Ohio team.

What hotel you in? Havn't seen you guys around.

PS I would bring it up with their coaches and hope they have enough class to be disqusted by those actions

Makes me think you know what team did it.Really doesn't matter who did it. Totally classless! As for the condoms any 13 or 14 yr can probably get them from any school nurse.

I totally agree that this is in poor taste but before pointing fingers you really should know for sure which team did it. You should be pointing the finger at the another team staying there that is NOT from Ohio. And yes, the coach should be notified and appropriate action taken! It is senseless!!

Let me be very direct - it is not CF. So my suggestion is that you get your facts straight. Pretty cool posting it on OFC - why didn't you come to us directly! We are in the same hotel! On the other hand, thanks for leaving your left over pizza - it was pretty good! Next time, I like Pepporoni!

The tearing up the signs was bad whoever did it. Now if they left the signs alone and just wrote the info on the things they slid under the door that might have been funny. Have to think about it.

I'm curious as to how you handled the situation. Surely, you wouldn't be accusing these young ladies without having witnessed it firsthand. If you witnessed this, did you speak up to those young ladies misbehaving, or speak up to their parents?

During Compuware we were being kept awake late at night by loud girls running up & down the hall, pounding on doors, laughing. When I finally got out of bed & opened my door I expected to see a 12U team. I was surprised to see another 16U team acting so immature....but those Chitown Express girls sure could hit!

ok - last word from me on this - the person that posted originally sent me a pm and apologized so ok. Fact is they are not even here this week!!!!!!!! - took the word of an understandably upset young lady. Totally classless act that started this that got worse when someone jumped the gun when not knowing who did it.

Good thing I did not drink last night - Bear May may have shut down the post!!!!!!!!

Time for a hi Jack! We are having a great time at the tournament! Opening ceremonies were great! they were at the blue crabs stadium-a professional baseball club-very nice three year old stadium. Lots of activities! Sibs are having a great time. Fields are nice. Lots of parking. Hopefully we'll put some games together and make it thru the next game!

Overall, The tearing down the signs wouldn't bother me at all and I would agree that the condoms regardless as to who did it, was completely tasteless and immature.
