We will be having an tournament for the 14u, 12u and 10u division.

It is a 5 gg for $400 with 8 teams maximum in each age group.

Come join us in Ohio and support a wonderful cause.

There are many things to do in our area including the Cincinnati Reds, Kings Island, The Beach Waterpark and Coney Island. All close by.

Because Warren Jones is upset that I am having this event on the same weekend of the 16u HOF and wants Goshen dedicated to only 16u's this weekend.

Thus, having early entries into the event makes it easier for me to plan so I can get use of another location ( Maineville) for 14u teams . Maineville is 6 miles away and have red clay fields and temp fences.

Obviously, I have dedicated 6 of the 10 fields at Goshen to the 16u Hall of Fame and the other 4 diamonds are 10u and 12u sized diamonds anyway.

This event is only open to August 28th and at that time I MUST cancel. I have no choice as Maineville wants 2 weeks notice.

Obviously, I am disappointed as I was hoping to fill the event for a good cause with ALL proceeds going to the Fund for Mardee's son and research.

They are nice fields. We go over there when dd wants to practice extra on her own. I just don't think you would be able to get the fields playable very quickly after getting much rain at all.

I was over there doing rec ball umpiring this summer as a favor.. and had rains and they played on them not long afterwards. But, it was 85 degrees, too..LOL They are wanting teams to see their facility for future considerations for events.

Next time it rains, I'll run over there.

Come on out coaches for a GREAT cause.... a fellow coach and her son.

Put together a team ..... gather the wagons ..... come have some Fall fun.

Obviously, Goshen can take adverse weather conditions and get going. You are not wasting your money on motel room cost when you come here. The grounds crew is A+ as it has been well noted. And you know darn well.. I'm going to do everything in MY power to play.

Get off the fence and come join the fun and for a great cause.

Let's go.. so I can finish the planning stages. You all make me nervous sitting on the fence. Fall off and come join us.

Liberty Blazers 14u looking for someone to play....

I know tryouts have been running late for some orgs... but it's a non sanction event so no one runs into roster problems.. and it's for a great cause !!!
