Just like to congratulate the Poland 12U all-star team who represented Ohio in the central region little league softball tournament. They beat Indiana 5-4 and are now heading to Oregon to compete in the little league world series! Way to go girls!

What an awesome feeling this must be (I wish I was there). Being my DD is only a few years removed from this age bracket I know how every girl and parent must feel. I am so very proud of all you fine young ladies. Just remember that there is a time to play and a time to win, but most of all have fun and do your best. I will be watching ya all on the magic of the internet. Good luck and see you when you get home.

Poland won their first game against Texas 5-4 and their second game against Puerto Rico 7-4. They play West representative Burbank Little League of Burbank California tomorrow. The semifinals will be televised by ESPN2 on Tuesday. Good Luck Girls!!!

Unfortunately, Poland lost today to the west representative, Burbank California 1-0. Tomorrow they will finish up pool play against Canada. The top two in their pool will play in the semifinals Tuesday which will be broadcast on ESPN2.

My DD played in the Little League Juniors World Series a few years ago. No travel tourneys will ever compare to it. Good Luck Poland!! You guys have always been a tough one to beat in Little League. Only hard team at the regionals that year to face.

Hope to be watching you guys tomorrow representing the Central.

I watched and enjoyed. They played against a strong pitcher and kept the game close.
