Now that the field size has dropped will we play for an 1 hr 30 min, with no drop dead.

It looks like there will be plenty of time to get games in.....

The girls just want to play

I doubt that they will change it. Notice on the web-site that they changed it from utilizing 7 fields and have now dropped to 4.

we are keeping the same format, MAY drop the drop dead, not sure!

We have had lots of inquiries but nobody has taken the last two spots as of this morning. We'd love to fill them so we can have two, 4 team pools.

We have a gift for each player in the tournament, and really cool shirts for it also available!

We are trying to get this off the ground to have a fun event for those in this area, and we have some nice teams involved

I hope that you drop the drop dead, it makes for unsportsmanlike play.

Have you had any luck getting teams?

When should we see a schedule?

Soft: I will PAY money to see you in a Peter Pan outfit!

As for the drop dead, in pool play, we almost have to do it to stay on schedule and get teams out by midnight. This idea of a one day tournament is something we are looking for feedback on from the participants. It's going to be a softball filled day for sure! We wanted this to be a unique, fun day , but we for future events we want feedback to make it the best it can be!

As for teams, still have inquiries and we are diligently working on it to try to have two pools per age group. Our USSSA director Denny Rose is searching under every
co-tournament director Mark Kachenmeister is exhausting his list of contacts. Help us out! :-]

yep, U14 from Bedford with I believe some wizard players. Also thanks to Coach L. Zoltowski we have the final 12u Irish team in!

Schedules will be out tonight, please remember some teams had issues in the morning or afternoon, so our scheduler was trying to accommodate all requests!

We want to this be a really FUN event, one day action packed, but we want feedback as to the one day, and the whole tournament. We'd love to build this up to include 10's 16's next year. Seems MANY kids are in other fall sports, and lots of fall tournaments are struggling this year [probably economy to!] that was the primary reason we wanted the one day event and also to finish under the lights to help with the Halloween feel! we have a small gift for all players and coaches that pumpkin, the more decorated the better! magicsgs@bex.net
