We could cut our OFC addiction way back if it had only 6 forums:

Forum 1) My DD's coach doesnt know what he/she is doing, Sub forums could be travel/high school/playing time

Forum 2) Look how bad this pitcher crow hops, Sub forums Umps dont call crow hops, my DD doesnt crow hop.

Forum 3) Best pitchers in the state of Ohio year 2011 (this obviously changes every year) Sub Forums -How to stop being a helicopter parent

Forum 4) Top incoming freshman state of Ohio 2011 (again this would change every year) Sub forum- Ways to get your DD's name out there

Forum 5) Why are california players better then Ohio players Sub Forums - How to ignore obvious reasons and create your own reasoning and If your DD daughter doesnt want to play college ball, why is she trying to be her best at something?

Forum 6) TRYOUTS Sub forums- Team tried to steal my best player, Player left after saying she would play, I need players and are there to many teams because I cant find players and it cant be me?

Maybe that wouldnt cut our addiction back, just make our addiction more organized. I'm just kidding obviously, I'm thankful to Bear and Ricky for keeping this community rolling like they do.

Hi, I'm Phil. I'm a pitcher's dad, and I think I'm the biggest pain to the dd. Although she never complains once she gets the ball in her hand. Also, I've turned my lovely wife into a classic pitcher's mom. You know the type -- she wears a T-shirt (or should) that says "Pitcher's Mom" on the front and "D.... Right it's a strike!' on the back.

BTW, how come I wasn't on the list. I am hurt. Also, now that it's officially the off season, at least until winter ball starts, I'll have time to catch up with my OFC correspondence.

Hello... My name is Brent and I'm an OFC Addict. I don't post a lot of stuff, but I spend WAY, WAY, WAY to much time reading the different Threads.

I'm the father of a current 14U player who has played ball since she was 8. Travel ball for 4 year's.

She is a quick slapper who can play anywhere on the field EXCEPT pitcher and we just wont go there with that.

It's nice to have met you all, and I hope to see you all around the parks this summer.

Just hope they never develop a blood test that can tell how often we log on...

lol---they already have, hon.

It's like a long-range sugar check (HgbA1C)...so even if you're good for a while before the test...they can get your activity from the last several months! lmao

We're all in deep doo-doo ;)

**Gulp!**

And here I've got a physical in mere weeks!

All we can hope for is that Bear starts up a support group website for the hard core OFC freakz one of these days.

:lmao:
