We haven't been oustside yet and I am about ready to go nuts. Our first scheduled date outside is April 10th. I hope the softball gods help us out and keep it dry and around 50 degrees, atleast,

I hope everybody has a good spring. We are looking forward to this tournament and the challenge that it will bring. See you in May.

played today... we feel the same urge. Dirt is waaaaay better than the turf of gym floors. Had some fun today!!!! Again, this tourney is rockin' with awesome teams!

We got out today as well Les...(Last weekend as well as a matter of fact)..even though it was freaken cold, it was nice to get the spikes dirty. Funny how a great tournament early in the season puts a high priority on working the kinks out asap...Thanks for throwing it together paul.

I think it is going to be a great way to work out the kinks early on and get all teams prepared for the season. I thank you guys for coming out to help make it an awesome weekend event. Looking forward to seeing you guys soon and watching these great games take place is going to be alot of fun. We are getting closer.

Last call for early tourney t-shirts. Get them in by 4-10 and you get a discount. There is only going to be a limited supply at the tourney but you can order them if we are out and I will get them to you.

Tourney is approaching quickly now. I would just like to say goodluck to everyone.

There will also be a speed contest, long throw and long hit contest as well. This will be happening on the football field by the concession stand.

Getting lots of emails about this tourney. I am pleased that the teams coming are so talented and ready to compete. I feel like there is going to be alot of people in attendence just to watch your teams competing and that is a special tribute to the coaches, players and parents on fielding such fine quality teams. Congratulations on that and the best of luck to all that will be there. See everybody soon!!!

The pre-order t-shirts are being sent in this weekend, if you have any last minute orders please get them in by this weekend. 4-22-11.

Trophies: 1st place team trophies will be 4 ft. tall with gold medallions for the players
2nd place team trophies will be 3 ft. tall with silver medallions for the players
Best team sportsmanship trophies will be 2 ft. tall and selected by the umpires
Looking in to doing mvp ribbons for the girls during pool play selected by the opposing teams coaches. Each team will recieve 3 mvp ribbons at check in to give out during their pool play games if we decide to do this.

Also remember we will be doing longest throw, longest hit and fastest runner contest on the football field behind the concession stand. Price is $5.00 for each event and each events pot will be split and go to each winner.
Longest hit you get five swings
Longest throw you get 3 throws
Fastest time you get 3 chances, this will be a 60 ft. sprint

You guys are killing me, lol. Not a bad idea Lester. All players except Danger players must participate in the activities at least 7 times each right before their games,lol. Will that be ok Les? WTH Matt, did you out do my boombox? We will have a sound off and if you win you get a free walking taco and drink. Sound like a good deal to you? I hope ours still works, its been in the trailer all winter, better get it out and check, yikes.

I know Grover has one coming. I seen him hinting around earlier this year about ideas. He probably turned a 16ft. enclosed trailer into one big boombox. You can do lots of fun things Mike if you got money trees like Grover, lol.

Sure was.. we were able to get 2 games in with Lasers Gray on Saturday ... we are all sunburnt but it was worth the innings in the dirt.. looking forward to the tourney .. talked to Jay and he put final payment in the mail..
