ASA Tournament 2011 Heatin' it Up

We are wanting to start closing this out soon so if there are others signing up, please let us know. We want to make sure that we have an even number of teams in each pool. Otherwise, one team has to play an extra game...

As we firm up the teams, we need to get everyone's fee and application. If you have indicated interest, please get your paperwork and fee in ASAP.

The tribute to Mr.Chris Miller was a great thing.He was a class act and in it for the girls. Tears were shed and love was shown.
We love you Cindy and girls.You are strong and Chris will be missed.

The OFC did this tribute right my hats off to you.

Great Job to all the families with the OFC organization. The Ohio Hawks 97 had a great time and enjoyed the tournament. Wish the rain would have held off so we could have played the Championship game but, we still had a great time. A congrats to all of your families, players, and coaches for a great tournament despite it being a tough time for your organization. Chris would have been proud.......

Congrats OFC! Very nice tournament indeed. Great facilities, umpiring was very, very good, and a great group of teams that participated. The teams we saw were all very well organized, coached, and disciplined. Best of all, all the ladies seemed to be enjoying their games win or lose. It was a terrific experience! Thanks again and let me know when you have 2012 schedule figured out.

@Inferno14...many props for the team you have!!! The game we played against you in the semi's was probably the best game we've had all year, and we knew 1 inning into it that it was going to be a nail-biting, close scoring, skin of the teeth game, whichever way it went. While you have many great players, I made sure to tell your catcher/pitcher/bomb hitting #11 what a fantastic player she was! She was a brick wall behind that plate, fired it OVER the plate when pitching, and that double she had to our center field was extremely hard hit. Please tell you girls what a pleasure it was to watch them play, and we look forward to hopefully seeing you again in the future.

@MYLIFE... thanks! Same goes to the Hawks. We too saw that it was going to be a tough game. I told the girls that if we are going to lose a game, this is exactly how it should be. And that we didn't lose that game but that the Haws beat us fair and square. Both teams fought hard all the way to the end and that there was to be no shame in losing this way. The clutch 2 out 2 stirke basehit was simply awesome! Well done Hawks!
