Our team is "administrated" through our Summer rec program so we piggyback that insurance

More doesn't always mean better.

When I put my kid on a high level, select, travel, what ever you choose to call it team I did so because the rec/jh type teams that she had to play on didn't offer her or any of the other kids much. Even when she was new to it those 8 or 10 pitches to hit for both teams in a 6 inning game didn't make for the ideal situation to learn how to play the game.

I did it it the past and I'm not sure what I thought either myself or my daughter would be missing if we weren't there. If more games, game time, or more practice time is what you are after talk to the coach on her high level, select, travel, what ever you choose to call it team and tell him or her that Jr. wants to play more and ask them to schedule more games and/or more practices. I have a feeling they might like that.
