She's had a good week... Won the one yesterday, has one in Midwest photo show this Friday, and got her second one on a pair of Bend Active Yoga pants.... She's stoked right now....she wants the dream job with one of the NYONAIR places.... Wants a 4,000 body for shooting, but she does HS shots, babies, weddings so she knows how to use it after four years of school.....

My kid took these on her IPhone - (I wish I could find more on my phone) We got her a decent Nikon for Christmas - Shes still learning how to use it.

I've actually got a much better offer on the table right now and it's tempting. It's actually way more money than I ever imagined making. More than double what I get now. It's tempting but I don't think I can do it. My youngest kid goes off to start her life in 4 years so it's not like money is the most important thing to me and I've got too much freedom right now. I kind of get to do what ever I want and no one ever questions me. I like it.

I've got an 8mp camera that I paid 250 for on craigslst, it came with 1 18-55mm and 1 75-300.

I'm not even sure what that means.

One is longer than the other.

So,,, one or the other.

My sister tells me I should be a photographer, I tell her I am.

I mean,, I took all of took all of these pictures, right??

She bought some big ole fat camera with a big ole fat price tag on it and got all snooty about it. That's kinda what got me going.

Now she tells me "Your camera takes really nice pictures."

I say "Thanks. My oven bakes real good cookies, too. And I've got a shotgun, it kills real big deer."

Unfortunately, the only way to make money as a photographer is to take picture of things that talk.

I'll just keep my day job and take pictures of stuff that can't complain.
