All positions are open. Pitchers and catchers may be required to stay later. If you are interested in a tryout and can't make it to these dates please contact me and we will arrange a private tryout.
We are looking to do about 7-8 tournaments and also looking to go to Myrtle Beach, SC for a tournament.

The Ohio SlamForce 16U team coached by Tony Hudson is in search of that elite '00 or '01 pitcher ready to go to the next level. Assisting Tony will be Becky Myer, a former DI pitcher from DePauw who will offer free pitching lessons for our team. Becky played for Team Arizona 18U Gold and is an instructor at PBA. She has top level experience that she can share with our girls to help bring them to the top of their game. Each week the Ohio SlamForce will hold a 2 hour hitting session with Lance Schmidt and a 2 hour defensive skills session with Bob Hoiles. Our team will also have 2 team practices weekly. We feel that this training is critical in the development our athletes and is not available from other organizations. If you are looking for a team that offers training with the best around then your home is with the Ohio SlamForce.

We are holding a tryout tomorrow August 14th from 1pm to 3:30pm

My name is Rob Kennedy and I coach the 18u Fury (furyfastpitch.com) out of Akron. Great organization to be involved with. I played at a high level (Division I, Bowling Green) and bring a wealth of knowledge to coach my players not only on the physical aspect but more importantly the mental aspect of the game. I plan on playing a competitive showcase and ASA tournament schedule next summer. We will also be playing in 2 to 3 tournaments this fall as well as an 18u indoor league during the winter.
