03 Ohio Classics Sevenish - Tryouts
Looking for players that will contribute to a strong, competitive team to compete at the highest levels.
I've been a head coach with the Ohio Classics for the past seven years with a '97 team beginning at 12U and currently coaching second year 18U's. Next season, I will no longer have a daughter on my team, and look forward to building a strong, competitive team to compete at the highest levels.
My current 18U team has 2015 & 2016 high school graduates, eight of them that were recruited as Classics and signed and received scholarships to play softball, becoming student athletes at various levels at their chosen universities.
The Ohio Classics have been fielding highly competitive teams for the past 22 years in all age groups, comprised of highly skilled athletes, with teams that compete successfully at the national level. The organization?s goals are to put together competitive teams that attend multiple qualifiers and showcase tournaments with a focus on competing at Nationals to complete their summer season. Another important objective of the organization is to uphold the first five letters of our name (Class) in everything we do, including on and off the playing field. The teams strive to teach life?s lessons through softball, helping these girls as they grow to become excellent athletes, and more importantly, solid citizens and future leaders. The payoff for the players is substantial in terms of developing their athletic and interpersonal skills.
Upcoming tryouts are scheduled for:
Thursday, Aug 4th, 6:00 pm, at New Albany HS (5101 Swickard Woods Blvd, New Albany, OH 43054).
Sunday, Aug 7th, 6:00 pm, at New Albany High School.
Wednesday, Aug 10th, 6:00 pm, at New Albany High School.
