I think your missing the point.. All I was saying is that there are teams here not getting the recognition they deserve.

1st off you should never post how a 10u team “ got pumped “ by anyone, they are 10. Since you posted this though I would like to give you some logic to my voting, I looked at all pool play results and in that same bracket storm beat usssa by 8 runs and usssa beat Bragg? Bragg then lost in elimination to silver creek who I know is a good team because I have played them 4 times. Why does PGF make it stronger? While I agree that sgs is a good team they also had 2 ties, 1 against a team I just beat by several runs? Just because people don’t play PGF or play the schedule that you say is tough is a joke. Valley’s parents didn’t want to come without me and Memorial Day weekend is the only weekend that my wife says no softball for me.(we go to the outer banks for vacation or we would have been there.) we have played lasers, hawks, stingrays 2x, ice grey 3x, silver creek 4x, thunder elite 4x, phantoms 2x, Pittsburgh power 3x 2 n 1 versus them and they lost to lasers by 1 in a elimination game. Pitt Lady knights 2x 1 n 1 versus them and they beat silver creek and won thunders tournament, and Pittsburgh Riot. Other than the top 2 or 3 teams on this list everyone else could be voted in many different orders that are very debatable. The only voting on this list that I think is questionable is how you got 80 votes and not 81, that means someone didn’t vote you second and I don’t see how anyone could put any team above you or lasers.

You made my point.. some coaches are voting unrealistically, plain and simple.

Im not saying teams who play more sanctioned events or PGF should be ranked higher Steve, what Im saying is these teams who ARE playing a bigger schedule and maybe not necessarily winning those events, shouldnt be notched down because of that. Plain and simple, there is NO WAY Magic is 8.

I am not here to disrespect anyone, but if your going to vote, be realistic.

Okay, I totally agree with that. I thought you were trying to make it as if pgf were always stronger events. Your just saying to take the teams that are at the tournament into consideration when you vote. This weekend we have a double elimination tournament where Silver creek, ice grey, phantoms, outlaws spencer, pitt power, and Pa lady knights as well as 2 valley teams are playing and I have beaten every one of them but I have also lost or tied to everyone of them so I get your point. It wouldn’t shock me if we do good or bad. We should list our schedules like they do at 12u?

I have no dog in this fight. I have been saying this for a long time. Let head coaches from other age divisions vote.

Each coach that wants their team to earn votes put their results and schedule on the thread. Strength of schedule is important. Very important. I agree with Mike. Playing a tougher schedule and losing is way better than beating up on some lower level teams. I stick my nose in the 12u polls weekly. A lot of great coaches at 12u right now and some super talented teams. 10u i will start watching this weekend moving forward. I will gladly post my top 10 next week after i see results and schedules. Lol.

Realistically, yes PGF is always a more top tier elite event than most. For instance, a few of these teams will be attending the 72 team 10U Championship next weekend.. any of us could 0-4 there... does that mean we should drop down because we played teams from Cali, Texas or New York? No.. but some are voting that way.

Hello Everyone

First off thanks Mike for coming to the defense of my team . I would agree with the above statement that Lasers and Outlaws are clearly 1-2 right now. I would also say if you have not played in a Jeff Mac PGF event I dont know if you can fully appreciate what a grind it actually is. Last fall and this spring and summer when its all said and done we will have played 7 PGF events . Next week we will be one of the few Ohio teams playing in Nashville and Mike is right I could go 0-4 EC Bullets and So Cal Athletics Mercado are 2 of the best teams in the country and thats who I have right away. Since last fall my team s record against teams in the top "10" is 7-3-1 .
Best in State win is Ohio Outlaws I know next time we play they are coming for us. Best out of State win Kentucky Rockers probably a top 30 team in the nation (Mike do you agree). I honestly dont care how anyone votes but will say I voted us #3.
