Ohio Stingrays 06 is looking to build a team of athletes with the heart and desire to learn and excel at the game of softball!
We will focus on Execution and Effort, the things we can control; And the results will take care of themselves!!
Head Coach, Shawn Chamberlin, has an amazing resume packed with loads of experience to pass on to your daughters. After graduating from Heidelberg University, where he played both Baseball and Basketball, Shawn uses his teaching degree to teach all levels of students, from elementary to high school.
However, As much as Shawn loves his role as teacher, he is the most at home in his roll as "Coach". Coach Chamberlin is entering his 16th year as a Head Varsity baseball coach. In his 15 completed years, Shawn has coached his team to 188 wins, 12 Sectional Titles, District Runner Up, and a District Championship. Shawn's love for coaching extends from the baseball field and includes all age groups in Football, Basketball, girls JV Basketball, and Volleyball. Coach Chamberlin has also coached 10U and 12U softball for the last 4 seasons.
Shawn and his Wife Amy, who played 4 years of softball at Heidelberg, have two daughters who have inherited their love for the game!
Coach Chamberlin is very excited for the Stingrays 06 team and for the season to start!

All positions are open for evaluation!
Private Tryouts for the 06 Stingrays are available upon request!
