What a day it ended up being. Can't say enough about Mike Craig, all his crew, and the fokes at Pickerington. They did an excellent job getting the Central fields playable in 2 hours after the hard rains today. Sorry the 14U got cancelled. That's too bad, but there was some very good games played at Central today. Very well run tournament.

This was our first tournament of the season, and Central Ohio Ice 15U played very well Sunday, considering, we had a rough day Saturday going 0-3 in pool play, but our ladies, came out fighting mad Sunday morning. They had something to prove. We only had 1 pitcher the entire day, and she did a FANTASTIC job.. Our first two games where shortened to 50 min games due to the late start, but the semi's and championship game were a full 7 innings. I don't know about you all, but that's a lot of pitching for 1 girl in a day. She was a trooper and she played her heart out.

In 14 U before it was rained out, the Mongomery County Hammers went 2-0 in pool play, beating the PC Sting 4-3 and the Crush from Grove City 4-1. The third pool play game against the Ohio Glory was 0-0 after one inning when the rain ended the tournament.
