We are trying to possibly set one up for the weekend of March 9-10. There is not as much field time available that weekend, but e-mail me if you are interested and I can give you more details of what we might be able to setup.

I see 6 players in the field. If you bring 10 do you bat all 10? What is minimum you can bring? For example, I assume you can't bring 6 or 7 and only have that many in the lineup?

We play with 6 on the infield. You may bat as many as you like and use free substitutions on defense. The only rule as far as minimum of players is 6, to have enough to cover the infield positions. If you have 10 players coming, you do not have to roster bat, but typically most teams do. This tournament is not a sanctioned tournament and the main purpose of it is to get the girls as much playing time as possible with the added benefit of a tournament syle competition to it. Some teams will probably bring 7 or 8, while others might be bringing 10 or 11. This time of year, I know it is often difficult for teams to get their full roster there, with some girls maybe still playing basketball or playing school ball making them ineligible for this event. If you have never played at the Batter's Box, it is a pretty nice setup, with new turf infields that are barely over 1 year old. While you do not have enough room for outfielders, you are still able to get pretty close to real game conditions and we have played many games there this winter against many different teams, and all of the teams have generally agreed that it is a positive experience. If you have any other questions, let me know. Hope you can make it!
