The information for the 2016-17 Winter Softball League at The Fieldhouse is completed. This will be the third year of the Winter League. The Fieldhouse is located at 300 Sunrise Center in Zanesville, Ohio.
We can accept 14 teams into the League. The Senior Division is for high school varsity teams or high school reserve teams and 18U or 16U travel teams. The earliest game could start at 8:00 AM and the latest game could start at 9:00 PM. [Games will start later and end earlier if we do not get the full complement of teams.] The start time will vary for teams each weekend. We will use 8 players in the field and everyone in the batting order.
There will be seven Sundays of regular season games. They will be November 6, 13 & 27; December 4 & 11; and January 8 & 22. Each team will play two games each day. You will either play back to back or play-sit-play. The game length will be 50 minutes and drop dead. This will get each team 14 regular season games.
There will be one Sunday of single elimination tournament games. This will be January 29. Each team will be seeded from their regular season record. This will get a team anywhere from 1 to 4 games on that day.
The cost is $950.
