Coaches & Friends,
I have secured both softball diamonds at Walter J. Long in Liberty Township on Sunday, October 21st for the purpose of playing round-robin friendlies at the 14u level. This will be a casual, friendly, relaxed, and inexpensive event for the sole purposes of getting more time in the dirt before the weather either shuts us down or moves us all indoors. You can choose how many games you to play (1, 2, 3, or 4). The cost is $30 per team per game to cover umpires and softballs. We already have six teams in the fray: Blazers Red, Blazers Black, Magic 99, Chaos, Heat 99, and Mason Thunder 99. Come on out!!!
Games on both diamonds are:
* 10am (drop dead 11:30am)
* 11:45 (drop dead 1:15pm)
* 1:30pm (drop dead 3:00pm)
* 3:15pm (drop dead 4:45pm)
Rules
1. No trophies, t-shirts, or awards
2. No bids or sanctions required
3. Roster bat and free substitutions
4. Courtesy runners will be last out (unless pitcher or catcher)
5. No run rules, but be kind
6. No gate fees
7. Light concessions, but coolers are welcome
8. Probably USSSA rules (depending on the umps) and 40' pitching, but subject to change
9. Yes, I will be posting this to OFC
