B's Dad, are you sure that 1:45am isn't a typo? That would be just a little late for a start time, don't you agree? :p

I agree, but I've heard they will do this as there are 16 teams entered. Hope and pray we do well so we don't have to see the sun come up 8) ;)

They will play that late, the one nice thing about it is if you win the late game, you usually don't have to be back until around noon Sunday. Plus with indoor you can assume that some of the times will be off as game that go into extra innings will back things up.

Both of the Ohio Wave 14U teams (Blue) & (Orange) are going.

By the way there are 18 teams entered.

Friday nite play starts at 10:10pm and then there is a game at 11:20pm.

Saturday nite and Sunday morning has consolation games scheduled all nite with the last game starting at 2:50am Sunday morning.

Kind of a wierd format. There are 6 pools of 3 teams each. The winners of each pool are the only teams who move onto the tournament. Leaving the remaining 12 teams with only thier very late nite consolation game, or 3 hrs of playing time total. Thats $110.00 per hour the way I do math. Maybe a few less teams and a bit more oppertunity for teams to challenge for the tournament would be nice. Of course if you win it will not really matter, just adding my two cents.

I feel sorry for any player who has to play a game at 2:50am but I really feel sorry for the pitchers. Reflexes will be slower than normal. Maybe adrenaline will kick in, but it is still very late for 13/14 year olds. JMO. Good-Luck to all the teams. It will favor teams with the aggressive coachs in a tournament like this it would seem. Put the points on the board quickly, take the chances, and hopefully you won't have to play late.
Good-Luck Wave ! ;)
