16u College Showcase team with Nationally Recognized Coaching

I am a softball parent and when I heard about this opportunity, it was a no brainer for my kid and I wanted to pass on the info to OFC. If you have not heard of Coaches Jim Piazza and Duane Sunagel, you have not followed Ohio softball over the past 10 years. See accomplishments below. Simply put, they are bigtime winning coaches. Between them, they have helped over 40 girls go on to play collegiate softball. The awesome news is they have joined forces to train and coach a premier 16u college showcase team for the 2014-15 season! Team will schedule to play Fall and Summer showcases (OH, MI, PA, IL, etc.) culminating in 16u ASA Nationals in TN. In addition to showcase exposure, you will meet and show your talents to top collegiate coaches at team clinics held in LaGrange! They are in it for the girls and offer superb training with reasonable team fees, 100% going to team expenses, no profit motive and no daughters on this team.

Coach Duane Sunagel:
As Head Coach for Sundogs 01-09 lead teams to ASA/NSA tournament record of 397 wins, 87 losses and 8 ties. Won 5 ASA/NSA OH State Championships and was National Finalist in ASA/USA A and NSA World Series.
Coached U of Georgias Tess Sito, among Ohios best softball players and 2 time Gatorade Player of the Year

Can you please list the tentative fall schedule (the name of the showcases) as well as the tentative summer schedule (what showcases).

since this is a high school coach coaching, how many of his high school kids will be on the team? I ask because I know there are contact rules in place regarding the season.

Is is this a new team for this year or did these coaches coach last year? If they coached, are they moving up to 16u this year? What was their schedule last year?

My daughter is on the team as part of 3 kids who were among the top end of the order for Ohio Power '99 which finished 2nd place at PGF Regional Nationals in Chicago. The team will be called Sundogs and I'm sure the coaches will follow all relevant OHSAA regulations. Far as I know, like most others teams, the schedule is not yet set but obviously the coaches have tremendous contacts within the collegiate community regionally and nationally and I expect the schedule will focus on the region of OH, MI, IN, IL, PA etc. I'm sure more info will be provided after tryouts on Sunday or by e-mail from the coaches.
