Sapphires - Won Tigertown, finished tied 5th at ASA States
Wolfpack - Very strong team just hitting its stride, lots of talent collected there
Classics Purple - Very fast aggressive and talented team with strong runs at ASA States & Compuware

I will throw in Cincy Doom 93

Doom beat Ice at Shreve. Ice beat Classics Purple. Weird week end up there. Lasers White beat Buckeye Heat Toledo, then lose to Ashland Blaze Black. then Beat Tidal Waves and Doom before losing to Blaze Black again. BH Toledo handed it to Blaze in Winners bracket final in lopsided score and then beat them again in final. No one went undefeated. I think that sumes up the 16U level of play. You better bring your game or you will be disappointed. Everyone seems to Bring their "A" game when we play them.

I think there are at least another 10 teams who could jump up on any given Sunday and knock off a top ten.There is very good competition at this level.

Heart of Ohio Force has beaten the explosion and the Classics Purple. Lost to Tidalwaves by 2 and the Doom by 1. Also only lost to wolfpack by 2. Fantastic hitting and amazing defense. Watch one of there games, you be the judge.

the 16's have been in dogfights from day one..wow, every weekend i've been in, watched or heard about some great games. I don't think any one team in particular is that much greater than the rest, but it looks as if you are winning, stay that way...alot of good teams are finding it difficult to advance from the loser's bracket..with so many good teams, it becomes a fight to the finish

so true....we've had our butts kicked and turned around to return the favor. A lot has to do with luck of the draw & staying in winners bracket. Many of these games are 1 play away from being a win/loss. It appeared at Best of Best many of these teams could use a little R&R. Good luck to all rest of the way.
