16u Spano Dome Schedule

This tournament should have been titled "Best of the Best". ?What a fine tournament this was. ?The ICE Black/Blue game was excellent. ?Very well played game with many spectators. I thought that this was the championship game by the amount of spectators and the quality of play. Hats off to the Spano Brothers for a fine weekend of softball.

What a great week end of Softball! I would also like to chime in on the great pool of 16u teams that was at the Dome. We saw alot of good ball. Wolfpack - you were awesome! Pitt. Black - 2 great pitchers, the best I saw all week end. Your hitting was on as well. Thanks also to the grounds crew!

Anyone know how the 15U Ohio Attack did this past weekend? I know they won their first game on saturday and I know they lost their 8:30am game to the Pittsburgh Gold but im not sure about the rest.

?Spano tournament was very good!!!! Many good teams...I was very impressed. ?I think there was some teams there that weren't reconized as much!!!!! I think that all these teams will be in the top at all tournaments in 16u all year long this year!!!! Congrats to all of you!!!!!

The amazing thing is how well girls are playing in the middle of winter. It just goes to show that these teams are working somewhere.

I am sure many of the oldtimers around fastpitch can remember only a few teams working out in the winter months.

I think that is why there are so many good teams these days.

1. EXCELLENT UMPIRES - those ladies did better than any two person crews I have had.

2. Woolfman - great job on the fields.

3. Well run - all games seemed to be starting either on time or early on Saturday.

4. Only negative - why did you seed off pool play, but then not play teams in your pool??
