2 Southeastern Girls hurt in accident

Please keep Taylor Haggy and Abby Wilt in your prayers as they were in a bad car accident this morning as the trailblazer flipped end over end. Report as of now is Taylor is doing ok but has bad neck pain and Abby has 3 fractured vertebrae in her back as she was ejected through the sunroof of the vehicle. Do not know how the ejection occurred yet as both girls were wearing their seatbelts. Believe another car caused the accident and fled the scene, still under investigation. Will keep you posted with updates.

Taylor has a neck brace and broken foot and Abby has fractured vertebrae and stitches. Sounds like both will be okay after some healing. Do not know about another car yet. Thanks for the kind words. Please keep them in your prayers and hopefully they will come back strong. I have no doubt that these two fine athletes will be back in action, not soon but they will be back.

i pray she wasnt texting or on phone, i still see a lot of that going on by young drivers, if i catch my grandaughter doing it, she will not have her license back for a while,..

Taylor was released last night and at home, Abby is getting more tests and xrays today but might get to come home today as well if her back brace is in and tests come back okay. They were both banged up pretty good, especially Abby, as she was the one ejected out of the vehicles sunroof. Both very lucky but please keep praying for full recoveries.

Talked to Taylors parents and seen Abby and her parents tonight and both girls are doing well and both at home. There was a second car that has not come forward yet in the accident according to a local doctor that was a witness and cared for the girls until help arrived. This person will get theirs eventually and be caught but most importantly the girls are with us and after lengthy healness will be back out on the diamond. Taylor suffered a broken foot and whiplash and Abby suffered fractured vertebrae in her back, stitches on the eye and a broken finger. Both did have seatbelts on but Abbys did malfunction and come loose which caused her to fly out the sunroof. As they both know how lucky they are please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
